Unstructured data is information that is not organized in any predefined manner or schema. Unstructured data is free-form and can come in the form of office documents, PDFs, emails, logs files, images, and many other forms. The lack of a fixed format in unstructured data can make it difficult to analyze and process, and can make it easier for sensitive information to go undiscovered.
