Data Loss Protection (DLP) describes a set of solutions designed to find and classify information and monitor and protect it from unauthorized use or disclosure as the data is used and moves around the organization. For SaaS DLP, the solution involves classifying data in SaaS Services such as Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, and Slack, applying rules and policies, monitoring data for violations, and taking remediation actions, including removing access permissions and quarantining data.
