SecOps

Security Operations (SecOps) is the practice of managing the security systems and processes that provide protection of an organization's networks, systems, and data from cyber threats. SecOps incorporates a variety of disciplines and processes, including alert triage, detection engineering, incident response, threat hunting, penetration testing, and vulnerability management. SecOps teams typically collaborate with a broad cross-section of operations and IT teams within an organization to quickly detect, investigate, and respond to emerging threats quickly and effectively.
