CPRA
The California Public Records Act (CPRA) is a California state law that was approved by voters on Nov 3, 2020. It amends CCPA by granting California consumers additional rights, including the right to correct inaccurate personal information, as well as to limit use and disclosure of sensitive data. CPRA went into effect on Dec 16, 2020, but most provisions became operative and enforceable beginning Jan 1, 2023.
