Data Class

A Data class is a category of sensitive data. Some data classes, such as a social security number, an SSH key, or a credit card number, are common to a wide range of organizations. Other data classes, such as project code names or application-specific keys, may be specific to an individual organization. Many organizations deal with dozens of different data classes, each of which brings its own unique data protection and compliance requirements.
