CSV

Comma Separated Values (CSV) is a plain text format used for storing structured, tabular data. CSV is a common format used to exchange data between applications, as it is easily parsed by a wide range of software including spreadsheet and database systems, and it can be read and edited by humans as well. As a result, it's very common to encounter CSV files in a variety of enterprise repositories. CSV files should be inspected to identify and classify any potentially sensitive data they may contain.
